Position:  Senior System Analyst/Application Support

Location:  Hillsboro, OH

Nature & Scope: The Systems Analyst will work closely Single Family Lending and Default Management business areas and subject matter experts to improve business efficiency and productivity. 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Working closely with the business area resources to proactively identify, assess and recommend tactical and strategic technology solutions leading to more efficient business processes
  • Documenting technical and business requirements (i.e., detailed business requirements including business rules, process and data flows etc)
  • Acting as a liaison between IT groups and business areas to implement solutions (i.e., SDLC or End-User)
  • Performing tactical application/configuration support in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Coordinating custom and/or COTS application deployments and upgrades with vendor and business system owner
  • Participating in business process re-engineering activities
  • Staying abreast of application technologies supporting SF Lending and Default Management Business processes
  • Create, maintain and update Single Family enterprise architecture 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.  Masters a plus
  • Results oriented; proactive; customer focused and self-starter
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) for different audience levels 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to create rapport with different stakeholders
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to work efficiently on multiple work threads
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail in order to analyze development requirements; participate in the assessment of development requests; and, participate in trouble shooting issues across multiple technologies and platforms 
  • Requires knowledge of technology concepts and project life-cycle methodologies.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience with:  
    • Developing and/or supporting hosted and/or non hosted application solutions (i.e., custom developed application and/or COTS)
    • Microsoft Office applications, Visio, SQL, XML, Visual Basic, VB Script.   Prefer but not required Java, Java Script, ETL concepts,   
    • Data Access and Retrieval tools (e.g., Microstrategy, Tableau, SQL reporting tools), Document Sharing Applications (e.g., Sharepoint), email application (Lotus Notes, Outlook) experience a plus
    • Developing and/or supporting relational databases such as MY SQL, Access, SDLC methodologies (i.e., waterfall and/or Agile) producing deliverables and participating in life-cycle phase gate reviews   
    • Familiarity with Project Management Institute and CMMI practices a plus   
    • Vendor management experience (i.e., SLA oversight, managing software upgrades)  
  • Ability to comply with; and, recommend business and technical process improvements 
  • Prefer but not required - Single Family Lending/Default Management Business Processes and Technologies (POS, LOS, Servicing); Secondary Mortgage Market,  Big Four Consulting and Large Scale Enterprise Change Experience a Plus
