Arlington, VA (November 27, 2019) National Cooperative Bank (NCB), a leading financial institution dedicated to providing banking solutions to cooperatives and socially responsible institutions nationwide, congratulates long-time customer, Leevers Supermarkets on their grand opening of Locavore, a new grocery store experience in the Northside neighborhood of Denver, Colorado.

Leevers Supermarkets, an employee-owned retail grocery store with 21 locations, recently opened Locavore, which focuses on local, sustainable and organic options to the meet the needs of the neighborhood.

In addition to carrying local food, the store offers shoppers several local food service counters serving coffee, breakfast sandwiches, pizza and sushi; and a bar where shoppers can order wine or Colorado beer to sip as they shop.
