Arlington, VA (November 21, 2023) — National Cooperative Bank (NCB), a leading financial institution dedicated to providing banking solutions to cooperatives and socially responsible institutions nationwide, is pleased to announce the closing of a $6.3 million loan to finance the 5th location of KD Market in Crystal Lake, Illinois and to refinance existing debt.
KD Market is a local, family-friendly Polish grocery store that has been serving the Chicago area since 1998. The stores offer a variety of European and domestic products, traditional smoked meats, and made-from-scratch fresh breads, pastries, and meals. With a rich history of serving the community's grocery needs, KD Market has introduced the online grocery store, Pierogi Store, which brings the authentic flavors of Poland, offering favorite Polish and European products.
The new KD Market location in Crystal Lake, IL will open in the summer of 2024 and will be their largest store at approximately 41,000 square feet. The store will continue its traditional offerings and will now expand its product selection to include a more diverse range of international foods and in-store dining.
