 Hillsboro, OH – (February 13, 2017) – National Cooperative Bank (NCB), a leading financial institution which provides banking products and services to Southern Ohio and the nation's cooperatives, their members and other socially responsible organizations, shows their commitment to the local community through various donations and the increased employment opportunities they offer in Southern Ohio.

In 2016, NCB committed $61,500 to local non-profits throughout the area it serves in Southern Ohio. “I am honored to work for an organization that is committed to our community”, stated Deb Jones, Co- President, NCB Ohio Region. I have worked at NCB for 22 years and can say that we are definitely more than a bank. We care for our employees, customers and our community – we are a bank you can feel good about.”

In addition to NCB’s monetary contributions, they employ 147 employees throughout Highland, Clinton and Brown County. This is an increase of 31 jobs from 2012. “NCB’s operations continue to grow and expand,” stated Michelle Ward, Senior Vice President and Ohio Human Resources Manager. “We are one of the larger employers in the Tri-county area and provide a very robust benefits package for employees.” NCB has been named one of the top ten Best Employers in Ohio in 2015, and 2016, by the Ohio SHRM State Council and Best Companies Group.
