NCB to Host 54th Annual Radio-Telethon

NCB, in partnership with the Hillsboro Rotary Club, will host an auction during the 54th Annual Ernie Blankenship Memorial Radio-Telethon on Wednesday, March 25, from 7–9 p.m. at the Hillsboro Orpheum. Proceeds from the telethon will benefit the Highland County Society for Children and Adults.

The Rotary Club has donated an Ohio State 2024 National Championship football signed by Head Coach Ryan Day. The successful bidder will be able to obtain a certificate of authenticity from a QR code with the package. Another item will be a full sized 2018 Black Ohio State Football helmet donated by Rick Wilkin. 

NCB employees have donated three baskets loaded with various items. The first is a Family Fun Night with Top Golf, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Texas Roadhouse and restaurant gift cards along with Admission for Two to COSI and also Cincinnati Museum.  

The second is a wine spirits basket with six different bottles of wine, a cutting board and Yeti Tumblers. The third is a Bourbon Crate with Woodford Reserve Double Baked Bourbon, Crown Royal Peach, Crown Royal Blackberry, Whistle Pig Piggyback Whiskey, Junction 35 Black Cherry Whiskey and Whisky Barrel Coasters.

Another featured auction item is a $100 gift card and concert tickets, generously donated by The Patriot Public House.

The final auction item is a one-year membership to the Highland County YMCA, generously donated by the YMCA.

Bids will be accepted in person or by telephone by calling (937) 402-5557 during the broadcast.  The auction will end at 8:50 p.m.
